Little Angels Preschool is my dream materialized by my husband, Jim’s ingenuity and hard work.  My teaching career began at the elementary level, teaching 2nd and 4th grades.  While raising my own children, I experienced the unique joy of discovery that motivates the young learner.  I pursued this interest with several graduate level courses in early childhood education at the College of New Jersey.  My interest was sparked! 

Twelve years as director/teacher at St. Magdalen’s Nursery School in Flemington gave me the experience, insight, and desire to develop my own preschool.  It was a two year whirlwind of location search, design plans, permits, ground breaking, material ordering, construction, state inspections, color schemes, equipment, tours and registration. What a joy it was to discover that the name "Little Angels Preschool" was available!  It just seemed to confirm our desire to create a safe haven as a first step for precious, angelic little ones to blossom and grow. 

In 1998, the dream became a reality as Little Angels Preschool opened for our first students.

The family embrace of Little Angels began at its conception…owned by Jim & Ellen DeSapio, designed by Martin DeSapio (Jim’s brother) and built by DeSapio Construction (Jim and his brothers, Anthony and Sal).  As our own children have grown, Little Angels has embraced us and filled our “empty nest”.  We partner with a true sense of pride as we devote much time and energy to maintain the high standards that make Little Angels Preschool shine!

Our staff of accredited teachers is truly a blessing…motivated by a love of children while demonstrating dedication, enthusiasm and nurturing warmth.  Collaboration is invaluable with a staff that utilizes over 100 years of experience in early childhood education!
